As The Katniss Chronicles is a fan-created project based on the bestselling series The Hunger Games, the creators behind the project strived to include every detail that made Suzanne Collins’ novels so vivid, captivating, and unique. One of the biggest tasks that the creators undertook was creating the distinct dialect that defined the characters from the Capitol, a city of excess and luxury. The following is an interview with The Katniss Chronicles director Sam Rhodes regarding the creation and implementation of the Capitol dialect in the new audio drama.
